The clocks went forward, so I say spring is here! Lots of baby animals being born, and that includes human babies too. Always good to have a card or two on hand for that special occasion. Kecia Waters on the blog today, sharing a baby bib shape card using the AJVD stamp set "Hello Spring" designed by Becky Schultea.
To make this card, I stamped the adorable lamb and chick image from "Hello Spring" with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I fussy cut around the image and set aside.
To make the baby bib, I cut a a circle from a scrap of soft plaid patterned paper with AJVD's "Circle Backdrop Die Set". I cut a bigger circle with a larger die from "Circle Backdrop Die Set" from white cardstock, so I could frame the plaid circle. Then using another circle die from "Circle Backdrop Die Set" I partially cut off a portion from both previously cut circles, to form the neck of the bib. I then cut a piece of folded white cardstock from the fold with a partial circle die to have a white card shape base.
I set two white eyelets near the neck of the bib, and threaded white ribbon. I then stamped the sentiment, also from "Hello Spring", with Versafine Onyx Black.
