Sometime over the weekend, I decided I am ready for it to be spring. Despite the snow on the ground, I decided to reach for the stamp set "Picking Daisies" designed by Lisa Lara Originals. Kecia Waters on the blog today.
On a white cardstock panel, I stamped the lovely batch of daisies from "Picking Daisies" with Marvy Black dye. I masked the center of the daisies using masking film. I then put two strips of painters' tape from the top of the card to the bottom, framing most of the daisies. I wanted a small portion of a daisy outside of the frame. I proceeded to sponge Distress Ink Salty Ocean and mojito green pigment ink to serve as the sky and grass. I carefully removed the painters' tape and masks.
I colored the daisies with Copic markers and Copic White.
I stamped the sentiment, also from "Picking Daisies", with Versafine Onyx Black.
