A Bright "Sew Thankful" Card

AJVD, Kecia Waters, quilting, hexagon
I was inspired by this past weekend's bright and sunny weather.  I decided to dig into some bright orange and yellow scraps of patterned paper to create this thank you card.  Kecia Waters on the blog today.

To make this card, I used A Jillian Vance Design's "Grandma's Garden Quilt Block Die" to cut the white cardstock, an orange patterned paper scrap and a light yellow cardstock scrap.  The resulting hexagons were sponged with Distress Ink Wild Honey.

I slightly offset the design onto a square of golden patterned paper.  I stamped the sentiment from the A Jillian Vance Design's "I'll Be Darned" stamp set designed by Becky Schultea with Versafine Onyx Black.

Using the A Jillian Vance Design "Needle & Thread Die Set", I made a needle from some silver cardstock.  I threaded the needle with some Baker's Twine and tucked into the card.
