Hello A Jillian Vance Design fans!! Rosemary here today sharing a sympathy card that I made using the A Jillian Vance Design Birch Trees & Birdies die and the Simply Said: Sympathy set.
I have been playing around with watercoloring lately and created this ombre background using some dark blue ink. After I finished the background I thought the muted blue would be perfect for a sympathy card and would pair up nicely with the Birch Trees & Birdies die. I die cut multiples of the birch trees from white cardstock and then layered them up at various heights to give the trees a bit more depth. Once that was done I swiped on some Ranger Pumice Stone distress ink. The birds were die cut from dark blue cardstock and adhered to the tree. I die cut my watercolored panel using the largest Polka Dot Rectangle Backdrop die, stamped it with the sentiment and then adhered it to the card base with foam tape. The birch trees were adhered and I was done.

Peaceful and lovely Rosemary!
So beautiful & perfect for a sympathy card, Rosemary! Your background is outstanding! Never thought of using tree dies this way--not that I have any, but they're on my wishlist!
beautiful!
Oh what a gorgeous card Rosi. Love your sponging and how you used these dies.
