Winter ATCs

Hello and merry Christmas! It's Lisa Hoel here with a guest post for December. I created a pair of winter themed Artist Trading Cards with lots of mixed media and AJVD goodness!

These are part of a larger set I made for a secret Santa pocket letter swap I did in my ATC trading group. Keep your eyes on my blog because I'll share the rest of them soon. ;-)

The card on the left started off with a layer of marbled Distress Paint. Over that I stamped using the Scattered Snow stamp and sticky embossing powder with Ranger Transfer Foil Sheets. The next layers are a combination of stamping, embossing, collage and fussy cutting. You can really pack the detail into a small space – ATCs are only 2.5 x 3.5 inches.

The card on the right is built on a printout of a vintage graphic from The Graphics Fairy. I collaged a combination of die cuts and ephemera over the top of it. I then added some modelling past to simulate snow and sprinkled on lots of Rock Candy glitter and Rock Candy Stickles. It really sparkles!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
