I had been playing around with watercoloring over the weekend and had created a piece using some brown and gold watercolors. Once it was dry I thought it would look pretty if I die cut the word grateful from it instead of using it as a background for something else. After cutting the word from the watercolor paper I die cut it several more times from a taupe colored cardstock and then adhered all of them together. A couple of little strips of patterned paper were adhered to an off white cardstock panel and then I die cut the panel with the AJVD Polka Dot Rectangle Backdrop dies for a really clean look. Before inking up the sentiment 'just for you' (from Simply Said Showers of Blessings') I masked off the word 'just'. The mask was removed once the rest of the sentiment was inked and then stamped as you see. Finally I adhered the die cut word in the center.

Classy, gorgeous card, Rosemary! I didn't know there was such a thing as gold watercolor--gotta get some! I do love those rectangles, but have to save up.
