So to make my "green cord" I used the NEW Slippery Slopes & Stitched Clouds die set. It features several options of 4 different line shapes. Each border die only cuts the line and stitching on each side of that line. So you can make slopes, wavy lines etc. BUT if cut once, then placed close to that first cut line, you can make a CORD for your Christmas Lights!
I then arranged my Scarlet Satin Sequins how I wanted them trying not to have them too perfectly lined up. Then here is where the MAGIC begins...take your Glossy Accents and put it just inside the cardstock line, then work toward the middle being careful NOT to touch the nozzle to the paper ~ or you will pick up sequins with it. In that case, use your craft pick to place them back where they need to go. And let dry over night. Do not touch them or you will have your fingerprint embedded forever!
And there you have the look of a Shaker card, without the layers of acetate and craft foam.
This is just another fun option!
I stamped the sentiment in Classic Cherry Ranger Dye Ink on a new sentiment strip that is included in a die set we can't reveal just yet.
