Hello, Lisa Lara here today, sharing
fun and easy birthday tags
always good to have on hand.
First, I'll show you each tag then share how I made them.
Now for my tutorial.
First my tag is 2 1/4 x 3 1/2.
I started by just making stripes across my tag each next to each other using an alcohol ink marker.
Here is what the tag looks like after I used all my colors.
Next, I went back using each color, just going back and forth overlapping the color below just a bit.
Here is what it looks like after I used all my colors.
Hard to see here,
I used the Grunge Fun stamp set to stamp over my colors with a background image,
turning my stamp and overlapping til it was all covered. I used a very light gray, that shows just a little but adds that finishing touch.
Now, I arranged the pedestal and a large sentiment from Celebrate Cake on my acrylic block
and stamped using black ink.
For the back of the tag,
I used another 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 piece of white heavy cardstock and used the same
background image from Grunge Fun to stamp all over for a nice background.
Lastly, I rounded all corners and punched a hole in the corner.
Voila! A Black Pear Pin in the hole is the perfect finishing touch.
