We are experiencing Indian summer in Ohio today, so perhaps this card may seem a bit wrong, LOL. Kecia Waters here on the AJVD blog today with a card made from the AJVD stamp set "Brrr" by Whimsie Doodles.
As the cooler weather approaches my guess is that I will be reaching for this adorable little penguin friend a lot. I stamped the penguin with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I fussy cut the image.
On a square of white cardstock, I drew a snowline with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker. Above the line I shaded the horizon with Copic markers. I randomly stamped the snowflake image, also from "Brrr" with ColorBox Ice Blue chalk ink and Distress Ink Tumbled Glass. I drew in the shadow for the penguin and pop-dotted him into the frosty scene.
I stamped the sentiment, also from "Brrr" with Versafine Onyx Black onto the panel. I framed the scene with black cardstock and light blue cardstock panels.
A sheer white bow, along with a snowflake I cut from ornamental tree garland, put the finishing touches on this card.

I hope to enjoy what little bit of warm weather that is left of this year. You know the cold weather is coming, and it is good to have a card ready for the upcoming season.
Make it a great week!
