Good Monday to you! Kecia Waters here on the AJVD blog today.
If I keep making cards from the set "Seas The Day" from Whimsie Doodles, I'm thinking Jillian might take it away from me, LOL. I won't give it up! It is too cute!
I did this card to show you some coloring with my Prismacolor pencils. Some people are surprised how vibrant colored pencils can really be. When I use these pencils, I do press hard to blend the colors together, though I do not use Gamsol or a blending pencil like many do.
To make this card, I stamped the adorable crab and starfish from the "Seas the Day" set with Stazon Jet Black ink onto Strathmore Mixed Media paper. I colored the scene with Prismacolor pencils and cut the scene with AJVD's "Oval Backdrop Die Set". I framed the scene with black cardstock.
A strip of patterned paper from Lasting Impressions and kraft cardstock form the layers of this card.
The sentiment, also from "Seas The Day" was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black. A button and Baker's Twine complete the details on this card.
