Birthday Balloons

A Jillian Vance Designs, AJVD, Birthday Icons, Becky Schultea, Kecia Waters, Copic markers

Whenever I need a quick birthday card, my absolute "go-to" stamp set is AJVD's Birthday Icons by Becky Schultea.  If you don't have it, I urge you to get it.  It truly is the perfect birthday set.  It is like a little party all in one set; cake cupcakes, party hats, balloons, presents, candles, etc.  Perfect for scrapbooking birthday celebrations too!

Card Recipe:

  1. Stamp the balloons from AJVD's Birthday Icons by Becky Schultea with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It cardstock.  Color the ballooons with Copic markers.
  2. Stamp "Happy Birthday" (also from the Birthday Icons set) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  3. Adhere a strip of patterned paper from Jillibean Soup along the left hand side of the X-Press It cardstock.
  4.  Finish the card by adding sheer white ribbon, a bow, a transparent white button and some purple Baker's Twine.

AJVD Supplies:

April seems to be a month filled with birthdays so I am sure as this month goes along, I'll be sharing more cards that can be made from this set.  Until then, have a great week!

Thanks for stopping by the A Jillian Vance Blog today!

Smiles,
Kecia Waters
