Every year there are many animals that are abused and unfortunately these animals aren't able to speak for themselves. So in honor of these animals, February 16-22, is National Justice for Animals Week...a week dedicated to raising awareness about how to report animal abuse and how to work locally with to strengthen animal protection laws and enforcement.
Many of us have "furry friends" who are considered our "kids"! In our house, it is RULED by 2 cats, Gizzy and Louie, whom both have such different personalities and we can't imagine life without either one of them. Some days they get along great and other days not so well...just like brothers and sisters! Even on those days when they aren't getting along, I know that if something happened to one of them, the other one would be lost.
Today I am sharing this "Pet Sympathy" card that I created in honor of all those animals who have been abused and weren't able to have a loving home.
This card was inspired by a tutorial that I had found on Operation Write Home. This is one of those designs that looks complicated, but really it isn't and it is sure to become one of your favorites!
Card Recipe:
Reminisce "It's A Dog Life" paper collection
Rich Cocoa Memento ink pad
Chestnut Roan cats eye
Diamond stickles
brown cardstock, blue cardstock, cream cardstock, button, & twine
Thanks for stopping by and I will see you again next week!
Blessings & Hope...
Misty
