Happy Fourth of July.
My son just returned home from serving 5 years on the US Marines. I am so happy to have him home safe. He was the inspiration behind this card. I am thankful to all the men and women that serve and have served so we can enjoy our freedom.
My card is a 5 x 5 card base folded at the top. I cut out half a circle using a Spellbinder circle die then embossed so it looks like the neckline on a military green t-shirt. I embossed my dog tag on dark gray paper using Celebrate Freedom set then cut out. Added an eyelet then made my chain using the Stripes 202 set. I stamped the line of small dots then stamped again moving the stamp so I could get in between the ones I just stamped then I added a thin line using a black pen so it looks like a chain with a dog tag on it. I rounded all my corners using a 1/2 corner rounder. Very easy card.
