A Jillian Vance Design: Shabby Chic Emerald Inspired Card

Hi friends! Annette here with a shabby chic Mother's Day card. This week we are making projects inspired by a photo. (See below) Yesterday Pam posted a Father's Day card inspired by the photo. Today, I'm sharing a Mother's Day card. I love the deep, rich emerald color, the chevrons, the washi tape. Well, I really like a lot of the elements in this photo!

Here is my take on it. I stuck to the color palette of greens, soft blues, buttery yellow and white.The gold frame inspired the metal frame in my card. I also drew inspiration from the chevrons. I really loved the colorful chevron invitation in the lower right corner. I found some similar paper and used it for one of my banners. The sentiment is from the Celebrate Mom set.I heat embossed the sentiment with opaque white embossing powder.
