Just a Note

Happy Thursday!

Jennifer from Scrapping Under the Influence here again. This week I'm back to playing with the Zipper {die}vice. I just can't get over how fun this die is! I went for a simple project again this week. I made a postcard style card that opens to reveal a personal note.

Hey everyone! Today I have this amazing and beautiful (if I do say so myself) project! Its very simple but I am super proud of it and the work I did.  It is just a couple of squares layered with my Zipper {die}vice and my {die}licious Flags arranged for this pretty card!

This is an actual ultrasound photo of Jillian at 20 weeks! I thougt it would be fun to use it and frame it with the {die}velop Foto Frames and {die}alogue Bubbles Die Set

Using Canvas Corp papers which I LOVE!!! and the {die}velop Baby Fotos Stamp set  which has so many options and can even be used for Christmas projects.

Very simple layer for my scrapbook layout ~ when I get around to that! She is only 13 years old! lol!

Jennifer from Scrapping Under the Influence back again! This week at A Jillian Vance Design we are featuring the {die}velop Foto Frames and {die}alogue Die Set with the {die}velop Baby Photos Stamp Set.

I wanted to keep this super simple. I've made a birth announcement card. It's as simple as stamping the frame from the Foto Frames Stamp Set and cutting it with the matching die. I then stamped the little Hello World! sentiment and added a tiny duck sticker. All you need to do is slip in a picture of the new baby and write a note inside and you're all done!

Back to School!

Back to School! 

Well I can't believe next Wednesday Jillian goes back to school! 8th grade as a matter of fact! Where have the years gone!  Makes me so sad I can't hold her and rock her all day but look at what she has accomplished in the last 13 years, I am so very proud of her.

So for my back to school project I did a Post It Note Holder!

We did a make and take at the 3M booth CHA 2011 and made these so i came home and reproduced it and the instructions to go with them.  They are very simple and FUN to decorate!

Here I am using just yellow paper, and the Notebook Background Stamp using the Summer Distress Ink in Salty Ocean ~hence the distress look in the lines of the stamp.  Had I used Archival Ink, they would be crisp and straight.

Then I cut a {die}licious Flag out of Jillibean Soup paper to add a touch of blue to match the ink, closed the holder and stamped the paper clip on over the flap.

Very simple and easy to make using a strip of paper, a score board and a post it note pad!

Teacher Treat Box

It's Thursday again!

This is Jennifer from Scrapping Under the Influence. The week we are making Back to School projects. I decided to make a teacher's treat box. I used the School Days kit from SVG Cuts and then stamps and dies from A Jillian Vance Design to embellish it.

I added a little clock from the Charming Holidays stamp set. The clock fits perfectly under Epiphany Crafts Round 14 Bubble Cap.

On the door I added the thank you stamp from the Charming Occasions stamp set. I colored the apple and then added an Epiphany Crafts Round 25 Bubble Cap.

Around the top of the schoolhouse I made a flag banner using the {die}licious Flag Die embellished with some of the extras from the School Days kit.

Back to School!

Hey everybody! Its about that time, when I have to go back to school. I'm half excited/half not. I had a great summer, and I met Zach Porter of the band AllStar Weekend, so that's a plus. (He's been one of my celebrity crushes for 2 years- and I FINALLY got to actually get a picture with him on August 5th- it made me so happy and pretty much made my life- let's be honest. Haha) But as fall returns and we get ready to go back to school, we always have to have projects inspired by it, right???(: That's why I made this card! I honestly love it!

First Day of School!

Hello Scrappers! This is Nadia from Nadia's Beautiful Mess. Today I am sharing a First Day of School scrapbook layout. I'm new to making layouts, as I prefer to make cards. But the more time I invest in scrapbooking, the more I am getting the hang of it. Although I am getting ahead of myself by creating my daughter a First Day of School page, I know that when the time comes, I will be so grateful that it is ready to go. All I have to do is add photos and some journaling!
