Hi, this is
Hi, this is
Thienly from Mod Paperie (http://modpaperie.blogspot.com/)! It’s an honor to be a guest designer her at
The Princess & The Paper today!
I’ve had the
pleasure of meeting both Jillian and Bunny while my friend and I owned the
Paper Dolls blog. We had them as guest
designers (they made that beautiful topiary!) and featured artists, as well as
them being a generous sponsor for our final challenge. Thank you both for having me here J
I’ve always liked
various aspects of ‘crafting’, but my real passion for paper came after I
purchased my first cutting machine, Cricut, a couple of years ago. From there, I was hooked, and have been
papercrafting since! I love to make all
sorts of projects – layouts, cards… but mainly 3D projects is where I have a lot
of fun doing it! I love using stamps in
my projects as well – they just add a little bit of ‘personal’ but
‘professional’ touch to my creations.
Today, I had the
pleasure of playing with the More Stitches Stamp set and made a card. This set is so cute – with various stitches
in two widths as well as some cute sentiments to go with it! Jillian is so
talented – I can’t believe she’s designing all these amazing stamps at her age!
Anyway, here’s my
card:
To make this card,
I just cut out 9 square pieces (1 3/4” x 1 3/4”) of various patterned paper,
and I stamped the edges of them. I
adhered them on the 5 ½” x 5 ½” card.
I stamped the
sentiment onto another paper and adhered onto the card using a foam tape to
give dimension. I embellished the rest
with rose ribbon, natural twine and brown twine, buttons, mini spool, and
crinkled ribbons.
Hope that you
liked my card!! It’s an honor to be a guest designer her at
The Princess & The Paper today!
Hope that you
liked my card!
