Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop Projects from Jillian and Bunny

Hello everyone and welcome to the Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop!
We want to spread the news about this deadly disease that could be cured if it is diagnosed in time.
I know that each and everyone of us has been touched by someone with cancer or has had it themselves.  Please invite your family and friends to participate in the hop with us.  Losing a family member, friend or even out pets is very difficult.  I hope you all HOP through this journey with us.

Faith ~ Hope ~  Pray ~ Believe by Jillian
For this card I started with a 12 x 12 piece of white card stock cut in half to make this 6 x 6 card.
Then used Breast Cancer Ribbon paper from from Me and My Big Ideas.

Then I used the Spellbinders Large Labels to cut the shapes that fit the Pray for a Cure Rectangle stamp set ( I designed this set for the Large Labels Nestibilitie Dies) that is in the Ink Pink Collection by A Jillian Vance Design  found HERE

Charming Jilly Charm and Pear Pin with seed beads

I used Jet Black Archival Ink for the word frame and also the swirly frame around the word Believe.  I stamped "Believe" in Magenta Hue Archival Ink.

Thanks for checking out my Pray for a Cure Card!!!
God Bless,
Jillian

Think Pink ~  Fight like a Girl by Bunny

For my beautiful card today I started with pink card stock and used the Spellbinders Labels One Die to cut two pieces for the front and back of the card.  I then took one of those pieces and scored it an inch from the top of the shape.  I saw this on the Graphic 45 Blog.

I then used Terrifically Tacky tape above the score line and at the top of the card to hold it tight!

Then I cut the next layer with the next size Labels One Spellbinder die with the Breast Cancer Ribbon Paper from Me and My Big Ideas which I purchased at Michaels.

Then adhered it on to the front of the card.

Then took White card stock and used the Beaded Circles Spellbinder die for my shape to stamp on.

I used the Pray for a Cure Round stamp set that is included in the Ink Pink Collection by A Jillian Vance Design found HERE and used Jet Black Archival Ink.  The Ink Pink Collection includes the Pray for a Cure stamp set that is 4 x 8, a pink acrylic stamp block to fit the largest stamp in the set, 5 exclusive pewter Charming Jilly Charms hanging on 5 A Jillian Vance Design Pear Pins.  See the Photo at the bottom of this post.  Also $3 from every collection sold benefits the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.  Please visit them at http://verabradley.org/
I then used White card stock and the Small Circles Spellbinder die for my circle in the middle of my stamp.  I wanted to add dimension to this card.  So I then stamped the breast cancer ribbon with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Spun Sugar and then the Fight like a Girl/Think Pink in Jet Black Archival.
I used 3D dots to make each layer pop!  topped it off with some Pink Bling and you have a beautiful card!

Have a Blessed Day,
Bunny

Amy Jo ~ For my project I used all  three AJVD Halloween/Fall sets!  I decided to do a layout today and I apologize for the washed out looking picture.  I am having camera/lighting issues so please bear with me!  The colors are much, much bolder than they are shown here.  Please look closely and you'll see bats, cats, spiders, little cracks in the tombstones, a few little phrases, and the awesome witch!  All of these can be purchased here!  The witch says "This is how I roll".  Isn't that just the coolest? LOL  Love that stamp!  BTW, the witch and the phrase are two separate stamps so you can use them together, or not!

Thanks for checking out our projects today and be sure to stop by my blog for the full details and closeups of these "wicked" stamps. ;)  (Sorry for the huge pic, was the only way to see it all)
