Happy Birthday, USA! I made this card to kick of a patriotic celebration. Kecia Waters on the blog today.
To make this card, I began by stamping the AJVD Sunburst Swirl Background Builder stamp with Distress Ink Firebrick Red onto white cardstock. I framed the panel with a piece of blue cardstock. Using the AJVD Elegant 3D Star die, I cut the star image from white cardstock and placed onto the card panel. I place a white strip of cardstock near the bottom of the card. I placed the sentiment, which was cut from blue cardstock using the AJVD Celebrate DIEalogue Word die. I created a a bit of a blue gradient along the sentiment by coloring with a Copic marker along the bottom of the script. I used a Tonic shimmer pen to add some sparkle to both the star and the sentiment. A few red sequins were added to put the finishing touches on this card.
