Good morning! Ardyth here with a simple, fresh Mother's Day card. I was inspired by the current Muse Challenge.
I started by blending Lime Rickey ink on a white panel, making it darker along the bottom and fading it out as it moved up. I die cut this panel with a Stitched Dot Rectangle die and stamped the sentiment from Mother's Day in Black Jack ink.
I die cut the tulip and stem from the Watering Can die set from white cardstock. I 'coloured' the stem by tapping the Lime Rickey ink pad directly on to it. For the tulip bloom, I used sponge daubers to blend Shea Butter and Polished ink, leaving a white highlight in the centre. For some definition and drama, I blended Party Dress just on the very edge of the bottom of the tulip.
