Hello, Lisa Hoel here to wish you a happy St. Patrick's Day! I hope you are wearing some green. ;-) Today is my Mom's birthday too so I usually make her an appropriately themed card each year.
I started with making a background of Distress Oxide Inks - Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron. I die cut it with the Flower Burst Cover Plate to layer over the white card base. Before I glued it onto the base however, I used some of the new Distress Resist Spray to very lightly spritz the die cut. The resist spray leaves a raised splatter that you can then sprinkle with embossing powder and heat set (I used gold). It gives it a nice texture and a bit of bling. I wrapped gold thread around the front of the card and attached a clover charm with a Pear Pin.
