Hello, Lisa Hoel here at the start of another week. Summer is fading away and I've spied a few leaves turning color around here! I'm definitely in the mood for fall crafting. I created a fall-themed birthday card for a friend of mine:
I cut the Quatrefoil background out of Distress watercolor paper because it is nice and sturdy and cuts so well. Not punching all of the negative space parts out gives it some visual interest. Instead of using plain colored cardstock for the leaves, I applied various colors of Distress Ink to color my paper first so the colors would be more splotchy and interesting. A few of them I misted with Perfect Pearls as well to give a bit of shine.
Thanks for stopping by!
