Quick and Easy Fade Out Birthday Cards
using the Celebrate Cake stamp set,
the masking technique,
a little sponging,
and a white card base to make these mail friendly birthday cards.
I adhered a 4 x 10 3/4" piece of copy paper with a strip of double sided tape just at the top only
(on the back side of the front of the card) for a liner. I then stamped these two sentiments from the same set to finish off the inside.
I used a thick washi tape to mask off the area I did not want the ink.
My sponging area is 1 3/4" high.
I sponged using Tim Holtz Pickled Raspberry Distress Ink and Blender tool.
After I achieved my faded look, I stamped my sentiment using Celebrate Cake.
