Eight Point Star Quilt Holiday Wall Decor

Hi, it's Beth, and today I have a quick and easy holiday decor set, made from the Eight Point Star Quilt Block die and three 4x4" canvases. The canvases are chunky and can stand on their own, or could be hung on a wall.

Start with a few sheets of holiday paper, die cut each with the Eight Point Star Quilt Block die. Trim the corners off to create a star outline, then fill in the centers with the die cuts!

It is easiest to add adhesive, such as Adhesive Sheets to the back side of the patterned paper before die cutting. Then you can mix and match and decide what each star should look like. When you are happy, peel off the liners and adhere the pieces.

The sides of the canvases are wrapped with wide ribbon. This would work on wood blocks too!

Do you make any of your holiday decor?

I used these supplies:

Eight Point Star Quilt Block Die
Other supplies:
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: Adhesive Sheets, Crafty Power Tape
Carta Bella - Christmas Day paper pad
4x4" Canvases, cardstock, ribbon

Thanks for visiting!
