Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Happy Friday!


Today, starts the Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter Blog Hop!! YAY!! :) If you haven't checked out any of these hops by now, be sure to! They are always full of fun and tons of inspiration!! 

Without further ado, here is my card...


I kept things simple. I used the coffee mug die and the big snowflake die together. Then used the little tea bag dies together to make my tea bag and added a mini staple to it. After, I added that to my cup (along with foam tape on the back) and set things aside. I then used the second largest heart die to make a 'cut out/window' for my cup to sit in. I used red cardstock for the background (added it directly on my card base). Before adhering the cut out/window to my base card I added foam tape on the back of it. Lastly, I used the alphabet dies and the 'tea' dies to make the words, which I layered two times for each piece. Fun, yeah?!...

*Note: We would like your help! For my card I used matching dies for the Hug in a Mug stamp set. It is a 6x8 set, would you purchase this set and the matching dies?...We are curious to know! :) Also, for the 'tea' word on my card is from the Coffee, Tea and Me set and there is ONLY 1 left...so be sure to hurry if you'd like to purchase it. ;) We replaced that set with the Cozy Cup (which you find below). :)

    This card is so complete even without 90 different techniques and embellishments. I have a hard time with the minimalist mentality, I enjoy over complicating things. I'm so inspired by this, thank you, viva Coffee!

    Really like the big snowflake on your mug, it makes a wonderfull card.
    If this set was available in the Netherlands I would buy it with the dies.

    Like the framing for Tea creation with tea bag. I'm mostly a tea drinker. I like loose tea as well as bag. I have 2 tea infuser (one is a Mana-tea bought at World Mot when they had a store here 8n N TX that closed last yr.)

    Kraft, white and red. Gorgeous and it reminds me of my Mom. These were the colors she wore for Christmas in red Taylored slacks, white turtle neck sweater and a camel color blazer!

    I usually only buy matching dies if the design is a pain to fussy cut.
