National Coffee Day

Hello, coffee lovers! I hope you're having a wonderful day and are enjoying the National Coffee Day Blog Hop. Today I have two fun cards for you today!

You can find the Coffee Loving Cardmakers post HERE!
Each stop has a giveaway so be sure and check them all out!

Both of these use the Rustic Wood Slice die as coffee stains!

These are both fairly simple cards, but sometimes simple is better! I love the clean look of these cards.

Basically, what I decided to do was run my wood slice die through with a dark brown cardstock. Then, I decided to run it through again and just randomly placed the paper on the wood slice die to create these sort of abstract shapes that also look like coffee stains! It's so simple yet it looks so nice (if I do say so myself)!

I loved the concept of what I did using the first card and so I decided to try it again! for this card, I did the exact same thing. My favorite color combo is turquoise or aqua with brown, so I decide to combine those colors on a coffee card. I used my Headline Type die to cut out the word YUM! in both aqua and brown, then layered them to create the shadow.
