Coffee Lover's Winter Blog Hop!

Hey, y'all! Shelly, here.
Happy, happy, Friday!!

Today, Is the start of the Coffee Lover's Winter Blog Hop!! Yay! If you have yet to check out any of these hops, I highly recommend that you do...they are filled with so much fun and inspiration! :)

I won't keep you long with my post today because I know there's a lot of hopping to do. So here's my card...

I started with making my cup. I used the Grandpa's Glass: Cup of Love die and then some 'trimming' to get my cup. For my 'cocoa' inside the cup, I did the same process with the die but I didn't want any of the 'cuts' in my coffee/cocoa from the die cutting. So I used that piece as a template with dark brown cardstock and then just cut it to fit. After, I used the French Horn die set for my holly on my cup using green cardstock. To top off my cocoa I cut a couple little pieces of white cardstock for marshmallows.

Once done, I assembled things together. I used the Stitched Dot Rectangle die with some woodgrain patterned paper for my background. Then used the Stitched Dot Instant Photo Frame die set with white cardstock for my frame and stamped on 'warm wishes' from the using black ink. Which when I added my frame to my card, I chose not to adhere the whole thing down, just the sides. I wanted it to have a little bit of dimension to it. ;) To finish things off, I added a touch of burlap twine.
Simple and sweet, yeah?!...
