sparkle on...

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!  I have a simple card to share today that would be perfect for a young girl (or older one for that matter!).
I have this fun pad of sparkly cardstock from Die Cuts with a View and that was my jumping off point for my card.  I pulled out the Faceted Heart die set and cut hearts from 3 different colors (pink, purple and silver).  I cut additional hearts from scrap cardstock and adhered those to the back of the glitter hearts to give them a little more heft.  The hearts were then adhered to a plain white cardstock base.  The word sparkle from the Simply Said: Sparkle & Shine stamp set was embossed on vellum cardstock using black embossing powder and then trimmed out.  I adhered the word as you see and then stamped the word on (from Sparkle & Shine) using black ink.  Super simple, but cute don't you think??  Since I embossed the word sparkle I'm going to add this to AAA Card Challenge to use embossing.  I'm also adding this to the new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of a bit of sparkle.
