tickled pink...

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Rosemary here with another card that I made using the new Aloha stamp set.  This time I used the cute little flamingo image from the set along with a sentiment.

I started by getting out some fun summer time patterned papers that I had and finding one that would work for stamping the flamingo on.  I used black ink to stamp the flamingo and then trimmed it out.  I used another piece of paper from the kit that had the flamingos on it to cover the bottom of a white cardstock base.  I then die cut a panel of white cardstock with one of the dies from the Elegant Stitched Dot Edge dies set.  I found some pink cardstock to stamp the sentiment on and die cut it with the smallest die in the Stitched Dot Rectangle die set.  I then stamped at the very top of the die cut so that I could made sure to have room for the strip of dark pink cardstock that I adhered to the bottom.  Things were looking a bit plain as I started to put the card together so I die cut a flower from some pink glitter cardstock using the smallest die in the Wildflowers die set.
