stuck on you...

Happy Wednesday, friends!  Wow... we are half way through July!  Time sure is flying by isn't it?  Cacti and succulents are still all the rage and so today I have a card that I made using the cute little Petite Cactus Pair die set and the Succa For You stamp set.

I used an inspiration photo from a challenge that is now closed to create my card.  Based on the color combo in the photo I die cut the little round cactus from the Petite Cactus Pair set from two different colors of blue/green cardstock.  The is a score line down the center of the die cuts so you can fold them and make a dimensional cactus.  I adhered the pieces together and let it dry.  Once dry I added the little pink flowers.  A piece of white cardstock was trimmed down and then partially embossed with a dot embossing folder.  That panel was adhered to a medium blue/gray cardstock base.  I then stamped the sentiment from Succa For You in black ink and trimmed it down.  I backed it with a strip of gold glitter cardstock for some sparkle.  I adhered the sentiment strip and then added the cactus.  Love the clean and simple look!  Adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge to use a die or punch.
