Happy Mother's Day

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Mother's day is just a few days away and so today I am sharing a sweet little card that would be easy to make in lots of different colors.  I used some older A Jillian Vance Design products for my card:  Daisy die set and Mother's Day stamp set.

I started my card by die cutting all three of the daisies from watercolor cardstock and then coloring each of them with a different shade of pink using ZIG markers.  The color was blended out with water.  I let them dry and did the same thing with the little flower centers, but used a yellow ZIG for the coloring.  I die cut a piece of watercolor cardstock with the largest Stitched Dot rectangle and then added a little wash of color using a light green ZIG.  When the flowers and flower centers were dry I adhered them together and then adhered them to the watercolored panel.  The sentiment from the Mother's Day stamp set was stamped in Catherine Pooler Rose Petals ink, trimmed down and adhered as you see.   With such a simple design you could use the other flower dies in the AJVD store, as well as different colors to create multiples.
