I SPY Love

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Happy Friday!!

Today, I'm swinging in to share a simple and fun love card with you!

When I think of the I Spy Love set, I instantly think of the I Spy books...do you remember those?!...I always had fun trying to find everything. Going off of that idea, I tried to translate it into my card.

I kept things simple. I started with some fun patterned papers to use for my background and hearts. For my hearts I used the Stitched Dot Hearts die set. On my biggest heart I added my love sentiment. Once done, I set my hearts aside and then made my magnifying glass. I used black cardstock and layered it twice.

After I started on my slider. I used the 'long skinny rectangular' piece from the Mini Bag Mega die set with my background paper. Then I assembled my slider together using the 'penny slider method' but instead of using a penny, I simply used a piece of black cardstock. Was that a bright idea?...Probably not the best but it works, just not as smooth as what a penny or even a smooth disk/plastic of some sorts. lol It's all about trail and error, right?!...

Once having things done, I assembled my card. Placing my hearts where the magnify glass goes over when you slide it. Simple, yeah?!...
