autumn blessings...

Hello everyone!!  I'm here to day with a fall inspired card that uses a little bit of a different color scheme.  I used the sweet new AJVD stamp set Hello Fall along with some AJVD dies.

The layout for this card was inspired by the current sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch.  I wanted to do a fall card, but thought it would be fun to use papers from an older My Mind's Eye Halloween paper pad called Mischievous.  I die cut the vines using the Swirly Vine die from a piece printed with Halloween words and then cut them apart so I could arrange them the way I wanted.  AJVD has some beautiful flower dies, but I wanted something a little bit smaller than the smallest flower in each set so I had to think outside the box and use my dies in a different way.   I had originally created some flowers using an AJVD die that wasn't designed for that purpose, but set them aside for another project.  My little "lollipop" flowers were created using the two Polka Dot Circle backdrop dies you see in the photo.  I die cut them from some of the patterned paper and then simply cut them into spirals.  Using my quilling tool I rolled them up and secured the bottom with some glue.   The background paper was die cut with a Stitched Dot Rectangle and then I laid out the vine so I could determine where to stamp my sentiment.  I adhered the vines, stamped the sentiment and then adhered the flowers.  To finish off the flowers I added clear rhinestones to the centers.   Adding this to the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of clean and simple.
