Boo! Fall is Coming…

Hello, Lisa here. You may still be broiling away in summer weather but kids are starting to go back to school and fall weather is on the way! At least it makes me feel a little cooler to look forward to crisp autumn days. We have lots of pumpkins growing in our garden but until they are ready I can play with the new Perfect Pumpkin die set.

I made a little Halloween card, my first of the season! I stenciled bats on the patterned paper card base. The middle part of the card is made of glued together book pages with a layer of gesso over the top. I spritzed it with purple mist and then inked through a stencil with Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink. It makes a great background for the pumpkin cutout and little Boo sentiment. For an added embellisment I looped baker's twine around the card front and dangled a bat charm and painted acrylic letter from a Pear Pin.

Thanks for coming by and go get crafty! ;-)
