Life Update and Easy Graduation Thank You!

Hello, everyone, Jillian here. I've been pretty absent from this blog because I was finishing up my senior year of high school (crazy, I know!) It doesn't really feel like it since I've been taking college classes full time for the past couple of years, but I am so excited to start a new adventure. I've been finishing up with awards ceremonies this week, and prom is Saturday, with graduation the Sunday after that! I can't believe that everything is almost over, but I am so glad that I'm done with high school. It's been a weird experience for me, and I have to say that I'm so blessed and so grateful for my college classes. I have met incredible friends, had the opportunity to grow so much more than I thought I could in high school, and have truly felt like I've been accepted into a community that is Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Here are some photos from my awards ceremonies!

Ready my last High School Awards Celebration ~ I had 4 this year!

Honored to earn the AMVETS  Ladies Aux. Scholarship

Mr. Sam Barone, Leader of the Knox County Community Foundation Youth Philanthropy Initiative, I loved awarding grant to deserving organizations for the youth of our community!

Mom and Dad who have loved and supported me, my ideas and dreams!

Mrs. Jackie Earnest, my high school guidance counselor who encouraged me to reach for the stars!

I received my 3rd academic letter as well as one

of three scholarship winners from the Academic Booster Club of Mount Vernon High School.

I was also awarded the Delta Kappa Gamma Mary K. Scoles Scholarship.

I am so honored to have been so blessed!

Okay, now onto the project. In this crazy time of receiving scholarships and planning my graduation party, I've been working on thank you cards for the donors who allowed the scholarships I received to happen, as well as those who are attending my party and giving me gifts or whatever it may be to help me along in my journey to Italy with MVNU's art department next year. This is just a simple thank you card that is super adorable! My school colors are black and orange, but you could alter the hues so that they match your high school/college's colors! Below is a full recipe of AJVD products as well as other products that I used.
