Birthday Art Burst

Hey y'all! Shelly, here!
Happy Friday!!

Today, I'm sharing a fun birthday card with you!

I did some pondering with this card. I was really unsure of what to do, though knew I wanted to do something I haven't done in a bit. ;) After going through my AJVD products and coming across the Layered Flower Burst die, a 'light bulb' went off. How about using it as a stencil?!...

I simply used a piece of scrap paper with the die and then randomly placed my die cut piece on my cardstock. Adding color with inks and a sponge applicator. (I did this process with one by one, until I liked how things looked.)

Once having my background, I simply stamped on my sentiment in the center. I did think about adding maybe a few sequins or so and even a touch of twine, but thought I'd let the background do all the work. ;)

Simple and fun, yeah?!...

Shelly, that is very creative idea to use the die as stencil. Love the result. Your card is super sweet!
