I just can't put these posies away yet. Since the weather around here is still quite like summer, I'm thinking I'm okay keeping these beauties out. Kecia Waters on the blog today.
This card is the result of me just wanting to color and play around with different color combinations. I stamped the various sized posies from AJVD's "Pretty Posies Stamp and Die Combo" with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It cardstock. I had to do some masking so I could create my bouquet. Once finished, I colored the posies with Copic markers and did some significant shading with Prismacolor pencils to get the colors to pop. I added some sparkle to the flower petals with a clear Wink of Stella pen. I cut around the posy bouquet and adhered to a white cardstock panel. I stamped the sentiment, also from the "Pretty Posies Stamp and Die Combo" with Versafine Onxy Black. As a finishing touch, I adhered a transparent purple button tied with Baker's Twine to the center of the yellow posy.
