Bright Christmas Lantern

How about this brightly colored Christmas card!!! Just sets off that watercoloring perfectly!

Due to many requests for identical stamps matching our Grandpa's Glass Die Series, we now have them!
All the Grandpa's Glass Collection can be found HERE!
This collection was design by Jillian in memory of her grandfather, Frank Bartlett who passed away January 18, 2015. He became a stained glass artist after retiring from farming an owning a sawmill.
At first watercoloring intimidated me! Then Jillian and I decided to try it using Distress Inks and a watercolor brush.  And we have been hooked ever since!  This card is easy peasy!  I stamped the Christmas Lantern stamp using Clear Embossing Ink by Ranger on Ranger's WaterColor paper (our favorite brand of WaterColor paper).  Used Silver Embossing powder by Ranger, then Distress Inks to watercolor the image.
The Grandpa's Glass Die Series and matching stamps are exactly the same size, so you can layer them perfectly with our Polka Dot Rectangle Backdrop OR our NEW Stitched Dot Rectangle Backdrop which is HERE NOW!!! The Stitched Dot Rectangle Backdrop is exactly the same size as our Polka Dot Rectangle Backdrop but features a "Morse Code" type of stitching pattern, which includes alternating stitches and piercings for a unique look!
Then those backdrops layer again onto our Basic Rectangle Backdrop (Shown in the bright blue cardstock) for an elegantly beautiful layered card!
The Sentiment Banners Die Set was another customer request which are great for applications like this where just a small sentiment is needed!  Stamped the sentiment in Jet Black Archival Ink by Ranger and used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Mini 3D Foam Squares.
