Distress Ink Background

Hi, Lisa Lara here today as Guest Designer sharing
these fun to make Thinking Of You Cards using
I used the Distress Ink Background Technique in THIS VIDEO by Jennifer McGuire.
I rubbed the Distress Ink pad directly onto my 5 x 3 3/4" panel covering it completely just like Jennifer Did in her video.  Then I sprayed water on the Vintage Floral Background using a small mister then placed the inked up panel on top and pressed down. Next, I just used the heat gun like Jennifer did to dry and bring out the design.  So fun and easy.  I heat embossed my sentiment then finished off with Sequins.  Oh and yes I used a 5 1/4 x 4" piece of vellum behind my floral panel that I pulled up the vellum border a little for texture.

I made these  cards for the Lasting Hearts Card Drive
(you can find all the details by clicking on the link).
