Season's Greetings...

Happy Wednesday AJVD fans!!!  Rosemary here today with a Christmas card I made using the newly released Pine Branches set.   I'm absolutely loving this new set especially the two step pinecones that come in the set.

I paired the stamps up with some papers from the Tim Holtz Yuletide 8x8 paper pad.  I love the vintage feel to the papers in this pad.  To keep the that sort of vintage feel I used the following Ranger Distress inks for all the stamping:  Brushed Corduroy, Gathered Twigs, Fired Brick, Forest Moss and Bundled Sage.   The pine branch I used was first stamped with Bundled Sage and then over-stamped it with the Forest Moss.  That piece was die cut using an A Jillian Vance Design Rectangle Backdrop die.  The green patterned paper panel was die cut with the A Jillian Vance Design Polka Dot Rectangle Backdrop die.  After stamping the pinecones I added some Diamond Stickles.  When the stickles was dry I trimmed them out and adhered them to the pine branches.  A green twine bow was added to the pinecones and some Diamond Stickles to the branches.   The sentiment was stamped using Fired Brick.  I added more sparkle by adhered a panel of red glitter paper that was die cut with the A Jillian Vance Design Rectangle Backdrop die to the card base before adding the other two panels.   Adding this to the current Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge:  holly jolly stamping and Choux Choux Paper Arts Christmas/Winter challenge.
