One Layer Thank You Card with Tulips

AJVD, Kecia Waters, Becky Schultea, tulips, Copic markers

Since it's the start of a new work week, I thought I'd brighten up this Monday with these colorful tulips. Kecia Waters on the blog today sharing a one layer thank you card featuring the a tulip image from the AJVD stamp set "Spring in Bloom" by Becky Schultea Designs.

To make this card, I stamped the tulip image from "Spring in Bloom" two times onto masking film and cut out.  Then I proceeded from left to right on a panel of X-Press It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, using the tulip masks whenever necessary.  I then colored the tulips with Copic markers, and added a little shimmer with a clear Wink of Stella pen.  So, even if you only have one stamp of a flower, through masking, you can create a whole field of spring time beauty.

I then stamped the thank you sentiment from the AJVD stamp set "Many Thanks" using Versafine Onyx Black.

Very pretty card. Great stamping and coloring. My mom would love this. Her favorite flowers are tulips.
