What You Need...

Hello friends!!  Rosemary here with a card I created using the beautiful Simply Said - Coffee & Jesus set.  I'm not a coffee drinker (I like a chai latte with soymilk!), but I agree whole-heartedly with the main sentiment in the set.   If you have not checked out the Simply Said line (click here to see all the stamps), I hope that you will... you won't be sorry!

For my card I went with a soft brown/tan/cream color combo and added a bit of shabby-ness by distressing the edges.  I wanted the word JESUS to stand out so after stamping the image on a piece of patterned paper from the BasicGrey Serenade pad I stamped the word on a darker piece of paper using dark brown ink, trimmed it out and popped it up.  I did some paper piecing with the cup to add some additional interest.  I finished the card by tying some dark brown twine around the panel and then attaching a little coffee pot charm with a cute little Pear Pin.

Oh what a wonderful card, Rosemary! Love the sentiment & how you made "Jesus" stand out--I've never done that with a word & it's perfect!

Gorgeous card, Rosemary! I love the 'shabby chic' design and the neutral color combo is just beautiful! Love how you let Jesus 'shine' on this card, too!
