Simply Noted: Quick and Easy One Layer Cards

Who doesn't like simple, quick one layer cards?  When my mom started writing her Thank You notes from dad's funeral service, we discovered we needed simple, quick and easy!  And we didn't have large images to stamp.  So Jillian said, I need to start a new series and call it Simply Noted.
This series features stamp sets that have borders as well as sentiments to use on a one layer card ~ or layers if you desire!  Each one features two borders for A2 sized cards folded either horizontal or vertical.

I am a card maker who loves layers, but when mass producing Thank You notes or other types of notes, you don't want layer after layer.  These sets give you an elegant look without all the layers!  BUT you can use them on layers if you desire!

The two cards above, I used Simply Noted: Damask and Simply Noted:  Vintage Floral.
These images may look familiar to you as they match our respective background builder stamps but are a larger scale.  You can stamp the background builders with a subtle ink, then stamp over them with a bolder Simply Noted image and ink color ~ to create a layered look without the layers!
There is also a third set named Simply Noted:  Art Nouveau which is a delicate art deco type of border.

I used our new  2.5 x 8" clear block which is perfect for this type of stamping and the borders fit perfect!
This block will be coming soon to the website.

Inks used:
Ranger Dye Ink in Black Tie and Classic Cherry

Next time you need a quick and simple card think of Simply Noted.  Just cut an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of card stock in half, score and stamp!  Easy Peasy!
Thanks for stopping by today!
