It's Monday! The weather around my area has been cool and crisp. Reminds me a lot of fall, so I'm going to start sharing some fall cards with you. Kecia Waters here featuring a card I made with the AJVD limited edition "Happy Harvest" stamp set from Becky Schultea Designs. This set is so cute! I LOVE all of the sentiments included in this set!
To make this card, I stamped the image of the scarecrow from "Happy Harvest" with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers, and did some shading with Prismacolor pencils. I love that multimedia look. I cut around the circle with my detailed scissors and set aside.
Patterned paper from Heidi Grace Designs and The Paper Studio, and a rust colored cardstock form the layers of this card. I did a little sponging with Distress Ink Tea Dye around the edges of the paper to achieve a cohesive look amongst the papers. All layers were framed with black cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment "Cawl Me" from the "Happy Harvest" set with Versafine Onyx Black. A button with twine provides a finishing detail on this card.
