Chevrons Make Me Smile

Hi fans. This is Annette with a sneak peak at one of our new releases. My card features one of our newer Background Builders. Chevrons are very popular and lots of companies are using that pattern in their products. What's unique about A Jillian Vance Design's chevron stamp is the stitching. It's the only chevron pattern I've seen with the stitching.

To create the chevron pattern, I stamped the Stitched Chevron Background Builder onto white card stock with Versamark and heat embossed it in white. Then, I used my Tim Holtz Distress Inks to create the ombre rainbow. The embossed area resists the ink and remains white. I noticed the camera from the Foto Frames collection also has chevrons, so using the same technique, I created a mini ombre rainbow to tie into the larger chevron pattern. I added a sentiment, some starts and my signature bling to finish it.
